I have a '74 350 engine that i installed. It has the Long water pump. I bought a short water pump for clearance purposes. I need the single groove pulleys but i think balancers are different (I have the smaller one). Is the water pump pulley the same on short water pump as it is the long water pump? i'm having trouble finding pulleys to match up. Do I need a deeper dished wp pulley? Will somebody please fill me in on any info and tell me what I need to do. Thanks!

When I swapped to a short pump I bought a set of used stock short pump pulleys and they worked out fine. Mine had a vette pump on it to begin with and I couldnt get my alternator brackets to work with it. Swapped to a short pump/pulleys and all is well.

The pulleys for the short and long water pump are diffrent. I believe if you go to any parts store they will say if they are for long or shrt. Keep an eye on ebay for the alum. ones. They are pretty spendy at the stores! By the way, glad to see you back!!
