Thats my dream motor. picture this if you will.

top it off with a vortech or similar throttle body EFI intake, and two middle to small turbos shoving air down its throat.

Its not a matter of if, but when...........

it will go in either a (excuse me for saying it) early 60's ford wagon, or a 60 hillman husky with a jaguar rearend.

I had this vision before the luv. Thanx for letting me share.

I just got the new HOT ROD mag yesterday and there is an ad for a twin turbo I6. didnt pick up the displacement, but it wasnt huge. they said about 400 hp. only thing id do different ...... it was set up like a two stage turbo, the larger one kicking in at higher r's.

Why not run em both WIDE FREAKIN' OPEN. gotta wonder.

a buddie of mine at work is into the whole "import scene". he had a import tuner mag at work once, that had a supra twin turbo inline 6 that was putting out over 700hp 8O
like ive said b4 i dont mine the imports as long as they got the mods and equipment to back up thier stickers 8)

and i may be wrong but i think the reason they set the twin turbos up like that is, the smaller one spools up faster making boost quicker than the bigger one. then when the big one gets up to RPM it makes a hella lot more boost than the little one.
someone will correct me if im wrong im sure

Now that sounds like it is correct. but my point is like you said, 700hp. enough said. if your going to TWIN TURBO , make it worth it!
i guess there are a lot of people that would be happy with 400 hp out of a straight 6. imagine what that would do in a 4.3 litre

I'm sure thats on a mild setup too. thats basically a v-8 with 2 cylinder chopped off. looks like they offset ground the stock crank to get that stroke. I wonder if they make a 3.75" stroke crank for that motor. the heads are the most restrictive part of it. If you had some good aftermarket heads that thing could be a v-8 killer.
