Well i have all my parts lined out. I will be buying a K-10 pickup for parts for my LUV truggy project. By the time im done it will be on full width chevy axles front and rear whith a 327 making about 400hp. Im running a 4speed manual in it (making linkage will be the hard part, a cable wont cut it for the 12" clutch i dont think) So by the time its all done it should sit at least 6" lifted over stock. I dont know what tire im running yet, but i need to swap a 4speed into my Blazer so i have something to tow LUV whith (i HATE automatics  )

i must agree with you both I have a dislike of slush boxes, lack of control over the engine is what i hate most about them.

if you wanna build linkage, why not use a master/slave cylinder setup?
