It could be a while before i can produce some pics. When i can, i could send you some pics by e-mail. As for a .wav file, i'm at a loss as how to do that. And besides, a recording wouldn't do it justice. The 40 series Flowmasters seem to be really good for this application. 30 series is a bit too loud from what i've been told.
In my case, i think they sound good at idle and it has a throaty sound when accelerating. Above 60 m.p.h. there's not much to notice because there's too much wind noise rushing thru the cab of the truck.
Around town cruising is the bomb. THe unmistakable sound of a V-8 is there. Hard acceleration could get the attention of local law enforcement but they'll most likely get you for other things except loud pipes. After driving the truck for a while with the new system, I'm really happy with it. It changed my perception of the truck. It feels serious without being uncomfortable.
The muffler guy said the 40 series is the most popular unit he sells for street use. You could spring for 50 series or better for a more quiet ride. Most will tell you to stay away from the 30 series units for the street.
