I was wondering what trans can i put behind my 350sbc to get my RPM's down. I heard that I should go 4 or 5spd. Will any thing out of a s-10 truck work (2.8 or 4.3L) without mounting plates. Basically just bolt right up. I'm currently running a 350TH on it. 81 Luv LWB

Dan here is the Gear Vendors site Gear Vendors

My1stLuv if you can find a different rear pretty cheap that will help too, I have a 9" with 3.00 gears (350/th350) and it's pretty good on the highway...
