what cars came with the g 160. i would like to use the head on my 1.8 but i have no idea where to find one. and i don't want to put a bunch of money in to my 1.8 head if im gonna try and find a 1.6 head.
i have a second question about this do i have to use the 1.6 cam or will my 1.8 cam work. n e info u guys could give me on this 1.6 thing would be appreciated. matt

Pretty much have to look overseas for G160s. You hear about them most in Australia it seems. Check out http://www.hotgemini.com for more info. Holden Geminis are likely to be a good source of G160s, and that site will tell you more than you want to know about getting power out of Isuzu motors.

800xl is right, i have a g160 engine in my from a gemini, i duno bout exchanging the cam tho, i could probably get a hold of a head for ya, but i imagin shipping would not be cheap

I know where there is a truck HERE (in another yard) w the G-160 engine.The engine is locked up and the truck is kinda beat, but Im trying to buy that truck just to have one of those engines amongst my collection. I also know where there is a NICE 72 LUVw G-160 under the hood, as well as another one sitting in the bed of it.....only thing is, it's in Colorado ......and I have my "associate" there trying to work me a deal on that entire truck as well.
Will let you guys know if and when i ever come up w any or all of the following in my hands .
