I did the auto to manual conversion with a pair of 77 trucks. It was pretty easy, but I had all the parts from both trucks to work with. You need the clutch and brake pedals, clutch master cylinder, tubing from there to the slave cylinder, slave cylinder, and a few fasteners/etc. This is assuming you use a manual trans from a 76-77 setup for the hydro clutch. The master cylinder mount on the firewall is there, it just has a cover over it you need to pull off.

If your donor is a 78 or newer trans, the clutch fork comes out the other side and it is setup for a cable. This means you need a few different pieces from a donor truck. There is a difference in the firewall where the cable comes out, so you will have to get creative going from a 76-77 to a cable clutch. You will need both clutch/brake pedals, the bracket they hang from, the cable, and again a few bits of etc.

The hole in the floor is in the right place already. You will want to grab the rubber boot that fits the hole and goes around the shifter though. Oh yeah, I believe you will need a manual trans driveline too. I'll have to look at my old auto driveline and see if its different length, but I am fairly sure the yoke at the trans end is different.
