The Luv truck I plan to convert is a diesel is there any differences. I would plan to use a 350 backed by a 700R4 is it difficule to modify the trans mount.

The 700R4 takes a different trans mount than the TH350 or TH400. I made my own mount. It wasn't too difficult but it did require some cutting and welding.

I put a 700R4 in mine and i just cut the trans mount back about an inch and drilled 2 new holes...by the way i used the hooker trans mount because thats all i had. be sure you measure it just right because i cut off about a half an inch too much. it was a pain in the ass to fix it with another piece of steel
