I think My factory shocks are worn out just completed the V8 Converstion and the wheels rub alot now. Will some heavy duty gas shocks for $21.95 work fine for now.

where are they rubbing at ?
if on the inside you could also get wheelspacers. thats if your not taking it to the track. there illegal i think.
i don't think a set of gas shocks that cheap would do anything. maybe a really good expensive set may help.

climb up underneath your truck and right below your cab is to bolts facing down. crank them up to raise the truck, just remember to count your turns or your truck won't sit even. also jack your truck up to relieve the pressure on the bars.

btw, welcome :D yeah i'm kinda late

I'm assuming the same holds true for 4x4 versions right? 'cause i'm looking for a little more clarence up front, too compensate for overload springs i have in the back.

the shocks only dampen spring ossolations they'll do nothing for you're ride height. like they said above.... adjust the torsion bars
