I know that Thorley makes headers for 1.8 Luv engines with all smog hookups if needed.

For the most part, you have two options.

Change the front suspension to a coil over setup so you can remove the torsion bars and run almost any header, or pay the money for the Hooker Headers and motor mounts for the LUV V8 conversion and use the stock front end.

I have engine mounts, but no tranny mount.
I will take $200 for the headers.

79luv said something about engine mounts, but didn't say how much he would give for them. let me see what he says about them and if the guest will email me I will let you know.
thanks

you can email me skyedivr@yahoo.com

On the topic of headers, does anyone have a set of headers for a 3.8/4.1 buick V-6 that they want to sell? My exhaust system is rather old, so if gotta go thru it , i might as well go thru it completely.

Loan me about $10,000 for about 20 years to redo my truck and I will GIVE you my chrome headers!! :D Anyway, like Luv4me said, try Autofab. That is where I got mine from also.

Autofab wants 450.00 for the headers. I was hoping to get out a little cheaper than that. It was worth a shot.

dayum......I don't think I gave that much for the kit to put the V6 in mine!
you could always build your own.......they have kits......
lemme tell you though.....it is a tedious task.

if its a V-8 conversion, you can get Hooker Super Comp V-8 conversion headers they have 1 3/4 primaries, 3 1/2 collector but I dont like them much because one tube goes on the outside of the frame and requires a slip tube fit. If hooker was smart they would have made all the tubes go on the outside of the frame... basically they should have made the LUV conversion header as a Fenderwell exit header. So anyway... what do i use? I use a Sanderson block hugger header. its pricey but its one of the only block huggers that comes in 1 3/4 primary (most come in 1 5/8")

So the Hooker engine swap headers arent realy an easy bolt on type part? Did I read that right? One tube goes outside the frame? Do you have to weld these things together? I m a bit confused. I thought they were like any other header.
