I have aquired a 76 camero rear end and am wondering if it will be too wide for my 76 luv?
I was planning on using my original 4:10 geared luv rear end but if this works out I will use it. I just don't know off hand if the two are close enough in length to swap painlessly.

I have all of my parts rounded up.....350-400 tranny etc. I just want to do this build up right the first time....

Just measure and compare the width of the camaro rear end and the LUV's rear. Also look at where the springs are, make sure they're gonna mount up right. I'm not sure if those camaro's had leaf springs or coils, but i"m guessing that its not gonna be a bolt-in rear.

I would highly recommend using a Ford 9" instead of the camaro 10bolt. its cost less to narrow it, and gear swaps are a lot easier not to mention that a 9 is a lot stronger. Parts are cheaper too.
