Ok guys, I need some help while my 350 is in the machine shop.I want to put a t-10 or a tremec tko 5-speed in but I'm worried about where the shifter is gonna be after it gets set in.Could you guys maybe post up some pics of where your shifters are on your V-8 luvs.I really dont want to spend 2,000 dollars on a 5-speed. 8O

Is that a automatic or a stick?Because I want to put in a manual transmission in instead of a automatic.Thanks for the pic though. :)

My bad!! Couldnt you just measure the tranny, and you should be able to figure from the firewall back, and I would think you would have a close guesstamit?

The only problem with getting a muncie is I dont know how long it is and I dont have any access to manual trans.I have a bench seat and I dont think it will clear.Unless any one has some measurements.

I had a borg warner 5 speed in mine and had to cut a hole about 8 inches or so past the hole that is there now.
it worked fine with bucket seats.
the 4 speed may be another location, but you will most likely have to cut another hole.

Has anyone put a saginaw 4-speed or muncie in there truck because thats what i plan on doing but need some info on how its done. Will the camaro driveshaft still work and were will the shifter wind up? Thanks..
