Wow this is a great site, very informative. Just bought My1stLuv about a month ago and already got a 350SBC and th350 Sitting so pretty inside. I can't believe they did'nt come with a V something as strong as the little truck is. She's an light blue 81 LWB pretty clean little truck with no dents and minor surface rust. Have to repalce the rear window seal after transplant. But have'nt seen or heard much about an 81 or 82 model on the site. But anyhoo summit has some s10 headers that just looks great for my application. Has anyone ever used s10 headers. Didn't use hooker kits. I fabricated my on mounts, engine sit low and clears crossmember about 1 inch. Manifolds would fit but would like to go with headers. Not much room for long or short headers. Summit has something made similar to a manifold but its a header for a s10. Any replies would be great.

if you put coil overs in place of the shocks you can get rid of the torsion bars and 2nd gen camaro headers will fit nicely.
I did this to my 80. im sure it would fit the same in the 81.

I have a friend with S-10 headers and they are a B!t%# to get in. they are very tight on the S-10 frame, so they would probably not fit a luv frame.
