I'm almost ready to start the tear out and my wife said"don;t you need a bigger gas tank with a bigger motor?"

Damn.......I didn't think of that.......ive already looked under there and i don't see much room,a fuel cell is way too much money to be sinking into my luv.

what tanks would fit ? I would like a 20 gal but i'll settle for a 16 gal.

my last two derby cars had beer kegs and i just wanted to keep a stock outward apperance for the local police

was also wondering if anyone knew a 5 speed that would bolt up to my 3.8(1981 chevy) i have a rock crusher(4 speed muncie) that would do the job but i would rather keep that for my camaro project

any input would be appreciated.

no you don't need a bigger fuel tank.

a 5 speed from a 78-80 monza, skyhawk, or I think a citation will work.
it is a borg warner 5 speed. it can take alot of abuse from a 3.8.
