for a small block conversion do u recomend doin a new fron end or just use ing the stock 1 just cureious cuz i wanna do a lil home work b4 i do a conversion

Stock parts are fine. Maybe invest in some better shocks.

Yes, the stock front end will do the job. You might want to make sure that all of the parts are in good shape. Also, if you have drum brakes, you might want to look in to replacing them with a disk brake setup. The drum system is a pain and the disk are better.
