i'm working on a 78 chevy luv i put a 350 and a power glide transmission in it. what type of radiator that might fit in the original mounts(and where do i get it) would keep my engine cool enough for hiway driving and for a little street racing ? and if its not possible to fit one in then how would be the best way to put one in that will do the job?

First off welcome to the site :D If you have any questions you can look back at old post, probably not to much you can't find, but if you don't find it I know there are alot of really knowledgable people here that can help. As far as the radiator 19"x22" aluminum with a good electric fan should take care of your cooling problem.

Speedway motors sell a good Aluminum radiator that will fit the truck but the radiator support needs some modification to fit. Take a look in the projects section of the gallery and find Colin's truck. He has some pics of the radiator and support mod pics. You will need to get an aftermarket transmission fluid cooler with this setup though. An electric fan is the better way to go too. The radiator is a good fit to the truck. I can show you exactly how he fitted it to the truck.

I got my 19"X22" aluminum radiator off of ebay for under $200.
It is excellent! I am very happy with it.
it is an AFCO.
