I think it would be contribting to why your clutch pedal keeps breaking. I don't see any harm with spraying some Women's Division 40 down the clutch cable, it will help lubricate it up, and might fix the problem. Try that first. If it don't work then your clutch might be set awfuly tight, tighter then it should be. A clutch should not take too much effort to push in. But enough resistance there so that you can at least feel your pushing something. Im not sure how you set the clutch on these things, but im sure somebody here knows....
