im putting a new engine in my LUV, its a 4 cyl from a gemini, i have a set of brand spaken headers which i want to put on, the engine isnt in the car yet but just looking at it, i think the headers will hit the torsion bars :?
some1 suggested i take out the bars n let it ride on the bump stops

I have headers (v8 though) with torsio bars, no problem. But the coil overs are something I would like to do.
How do they work in your? Have you got it going yet? How do the springs feel? I think you said you had the 350 lb rate?

no I haven't got it on the road yet. I have run into alot of walls that im having to climb over....just stuff that is taking alot of time to take care of about the transformation. and yes I used 350# spring.

as for the header hitting the torsion bars, you could always do like I just had to do on saturday....re-design the headers for angle plug heads....now that will rack your brain for sure!
I purchased 2 sets of headers to cut up and get the bends out of. I will post a picture later on a different thread.

If you take your springs out you mess up the front end geometry and start wearin out ball joints and front end parts really fast. Coilovers are a little on the expensive side, but that would be the least expensive way to go.
