Hey all.
Finally did the first cuts on the 80 LUV! Am following the Beer budget for the most part (but with ACE mounts)... I'm wondering if anyone can post pictures of discriptions of how you mounted your radiators. I have the HOWE one as directed, but it isn't immediately clear on how to attach. Any help will be appreciated. This is my 1st swap, so dumb it down :)
Cheers

Have you cut the core support? I have seen some of the guys that have been able to keep a lot of the support. I cut most of it out then made some mounts off the bottom of the core support then added a top cross mount between the hood hinges with added braces to the radiator.

Wow! Great pics, Widetrack! Thanks! I like what you did! I'm about a 1 day a month at the moment... argh... but working on it. I appreciate the help. I'm still not quite sure how much more to cut off. I've got some cleaning up to do, then i'll start the welding (which i'm relatively new at, but have been practicing and i have a friend who is more than proficient).

Not sure how to show my pictures, but i'm working on it!

Has anyone put an electric fan on their Howe 342b or similar sized radiator? Any good brands or sizes of electric fans?

I have not installed one on mine yet but, it will be added in the future when I change over to all electric water pump and fan. I plan on using a Derale 16" high flow that I can mount inside or outside of radiator. Also something to look at is the space you have between the pump and radiator for inside mounting.
