Hi all,

I've been through a lot of the forum and am trying to follow the "Beer Budget Truck" explanation... but does anyone have any tips before i get to that last moment i'm shoe-horning?

I specifically interested in wiring ideas? Movement of stock parts in the bay, etc.

Finally, if you are in Washington and are looking for a great condition, freshly pulled G180z from a 1980 Luv, message me. I'm going to put it up on CL and OfferUp this week! Includes everything except the engine mounts... and my buddy wants to Weber 32/36 but for the right price i'll throw it in. Any ideas on how much i should put it up for?

Thanks

A '80 LUV engine should be a G180Z, never heard of a GS180.

Think everything out twice before you cut anything . I have a 1978 with a 383 . All the wiring is factory . Only thing I added was a remote solenoid for the starter , but I didn't have to . All the factory gauges and light work as factory . I repined the fuel pump relay plug to call for the fuel pump when the ignition switch is turned on instead of being fired off the alternator charge , but used the factory relays for an aeromotive fuel pump . Flex fan with top half of the factory shroud . all the e brake stuff is factory and plugs right into the 9 inch drum brakes . Just slow down and think every move out or youll have a cut up mess.
