Hey guys. Well iv searched and searched and I cant seem to find what im looking for. Im building a full drag truck. It will never see the street. Im wanting to put a nitrous 632 BBC in it. Is this possible to do WITHOUT cutting up the firewall? dont really need to run a radiator, and if i do it will be a small one in the bed. I know fender wells have to be cut out. The roll cage will come through the top of the fire wall and connect to the front of the frame rails as usual. Front core support will probably be cut out and i will build a new lighter one, since it will have a full feather carbon front clip anyways. Now, with the fenders out of the way, no worries of radiator, cage coming through, core support will be built after the motor is installed, CAN I put a big ass 632 BBC in here, without cutting up the fire wall??? Please provide pictures if you have any!

Nope. Lol Bite the bullet and slide the engine back a couple inches. A small block will fit barely without firewall mods but a big block is longer and you will not have room for a radiator. Although I have seen radiators put in the bed....

Do a search for a user called ratnluv. He had a few different bbc in his. It'll give you an idea of what you're up against.

If you don't set it back, cut fire wall, you'll be putting all the increase weight on the fron axle. Actually the center line of the engine eill be in front of the axle, significantly moving the balance further to the front. All tha sheet metal you're removing will help a little, however it won't rectify the problem. Since it only on the track, move the fire wall back minimally 2 inches. You'll have fewer problems with traction. You've got a torque monster to start with.
You'll also need custom headers. Equal length, 2" od, 32" long, 3 1/2" collectors.
