I know there's info on this somewhere but I cant seem to find all the info i'm looking for. I'm doing a 2.6 Isuzu swap on a 1980 LUV 4x4. I'm doing it with a carb. Already got the 2.3 oil pan, intake and distributor. and currently going through the 2.6 to make sure everything is good. I just have a few questions for anyone who has done the swap or knows what all it takes? I know I have to make room on the firewall but I'm just wondering if there's any tips or tricks to get this to work. Also if anyone knows if the 2.3 head on the 2.6 would be an improvement over the stock 2.6 head? I heard it gives it more compression but also has smaller valves so it might not be much of an improvement. Also I'm not planning to run the smog stuff on the 2.3 intake and was wondering what people were doing to get rid of that? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you
