Is this on a Luv? I've never seen one on the column in a Luv...that'd be kinda cool.

Well i converted my luv to a automatic and it was oringnally a standard. Find a shifter mechanism out of an automatic 1981 or so Camaro, the mechanism fits great onto the luvs floor. Then just hook up the cables and your in business. As for the old shifter column, i don't know much about how they work, maybe you could find a column out of a standard shift luv...

Is it an auto or manual? I used to have an old datsun that was a 4-speed on the column.

If you are wanting to keep the manual trans and just move the shifter to the floor, B&M makes a universal truck shifter that will work. I ve installed two of them on two different makes and they went fairly easy. A little cussing and wrench throwing, but not too tough.
