So, i finally have the engine mounts installed and now i am working on the throttle cable. I figured it would be smart to order one for an 1985 C10 that the engine came out of but I was wrong.... Anyway, it's caused me to get stumped on the whole cable system. Can i use the one for the Luv originally and modify it? or do i need to look into something different all together? So far it looks like I'm returning alot of parts that i ordered from the store....

With my small block I used a Lokar, you cut them to length and easily adaptable to the LUV. Jegs and Summit both have them.

There may be but I found the Lokar set up cheap enough and easy to use.

Ok, so i got on jegs and found the one i think i would have needed. However, I just graduated college and am currently looking fo a job so money non existent. HOWEVER, i did use the one i got from autozone and the original one together,(a cut and splice type of deal) to make one that looks just as good! So we will see what happens from there! I appreciate your help! I may be on here more asking more questions later!
