I just did a search for what radiator to use in a small block Chevy swap.
There are quite a few out there for a range of prices!
Most of these radiators are 22 wide by 19 high and most are two to three inches thick. Most are 2 core.

The search included many old posts so prices may be old but I have updated them where I found them.
Feel free to add any information you may have for other options or if there is something out there that is better!

KMJ Performance, uses Northern radiator part # NOR209612 $220.00
Griffin Radiators #1-182DFAAX $278.00
Howe Radiator #HRE342B from Summit $180.00
Be Cool radiators #62017 $632.97
Speedway Motors #917347 $129.00
DMC Performance #YC231 $129.00
There is a company, Automotive Component Engineering, that I believe was formerly Chassis Engineering & Speed in CA.
They have V-8 Luv swap kits and have radiators available. This is the swap kit and radiator I used back in 1977 when I did my swap with a then new 1975 Luv!

I just retired to Florida from CT and I had cooling troubles in CT when stuck in traffic!
Those problems will only be worse down here in Florida so I am swapping radiators.

I just had this one made by Dillon Radiator Ii a 22x19 GM style that I had them remove the filler neck from the stock location and add the divorced filler neck as shown. It was $280 shipped ...

Do you still have it? It is nice if it is in your picture... Welcome. I used a stock early Camaro in mine, but everything is from that car.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

the powerbyace.com owner is a member here. Has been before he started the company. Sorry but they were not the stuff you used. They did not exist till several years ago.. He makes good stuff. A lot of members have used different things. Most are happy with them.

Yes I still have the truck in my avatar.

PapaG, I have spoken with Old Rob who is the owner of Power by Ace or whatever and he was the owner of CES. He is a member here.
His original radiators are copper. They are shown in the Photobucket pictures. They are the same pictures he used in 1977 for CES for his Luv truck SBC swap. I see he has a few other swap kits as well now.
Following is part of a pm he sent me regarding an old post about my truck and his parts from CES.

"The reason I asked on the adapters and chrome headers is that I owned Chassis Engineering & Speed."
"I kept all of the drawings, fixtures etc for the parts and started Automotive Component Engineering about 6 years ago originally for race parts. Have expanded to the 4.3L V6 and beyond, currently looking for a junk lsx block and head to do mounts and headers for several conversion canidates."

AddictedtoLuv, I did not include Dillon Radiators in my post. Thanks for the addition! How was the install? Any clearance or mounting problems? Thanks!

If you look at the instruction sheets for the LUV trucks, located in the technical section, it will show you where to trim for the 22 x 19 inch two core aluminum radiators. Also some pictures on http://s731.photobucket.com/albums/ww314/OldRob/

Another option is to put a heavy cap 22 lbs on the radiator and use an inline filler. Use a 18 pound cap and a coolant recovery tank which draws to and from the radiator, that has the radiator connection on the bottom.

The brass radiators from the 70's were 3 row 5/8" tubes, CES design, built by a major radiator manufacturer. They were designed bolt in to fit in the original opening of the 76 thru 80 trucks. They were down flow and had a goose neck filler. Also they worked on the V8 A/C trucks.
A stagered 7 blade fan was used as it provided the best cooling at idle and speed. One problem that even spaced fans have, is at speed the blades flatten and it acts like a solid disk, blocking the wind flow. You will notice that most factory fans of size are staggered, with fan clutches. In most vehicles, fans cease to help at approx 40 - 45 MPH. In fact if you live next to the freeway and work just off the freeway you could commute to and from work without on. (As long as there is no tie ups).
