What are you guys with sbc swaps using for radiator hoses? I've tried 3 different sets now and am just about to buy some flexy stainless ones, but would rather not if there is a set of rubber ones that will work

Too many variables to give an answer to for me. Location of the bungs on the tank, left right, straight up thermostat housing, etc. I generally just look at what I need by bending a clothes hanger to the approximate shape and go to the parts house and match up one, using the hanger as a pattern. Usually have to trim it to length...

im not a ton of help. i have s10 hoses i had to cut and mess with
the upper hose i had to cut off the part that goes over the tstat housing. i also have a swiveling tstat houaing so i could set it up to suit my layout
and the lower hose i had to cut a decent amount off of and soak the end in gas so it was pliable enough to push over the water pump barb.
but im running a 4.3 so my length is different. my in and outlet locations are the same layout as the stock gm type found in a sbc i would think. not sure how close you will find to a direct fitment

Never thought about using some wire, thanks for the tip! Hopefully tomorrow I can get some that'll fit

I uses an 88-95 ish C 1500 lower that i cut a section out of . The top is a universal style . Measure the sizes on each end . Like 1.5" to 1 3/4" 14 " long as an example
