Its getting to be about the time to pick up some break in oil. From what i have read it seems likr its slightly less critical with a roller valvetrain but what do you guys use and recommend? Was yhinking just get some of the compcams additive and run it with castrol like i usually use

I never used it. Regular oil, run till the cam breaks in, change it and run.

Joe Gibbs racing oil has a break in oil. The newer oils don't have enough zinc (If I remember correctly). Also check Jegs or Summit and see what they are selling,

I just use a crapload of assembly lube with regular ol 30 weight. Run the engine for 20 minutes or so and change the oil.
