:onfire: I have a 76 that has an automatic transmission. It is fried now but the engine is cherry. I have a 79 with a stick...engine is bad....Bodies are similar....should I go for the easier engine swap? How easy is it to put a 79 manual tranny into a 76 fitted with an automatic tranny...any help is great. Thanks!

Either one is a direct swap. You need to pull the tranny off the engine to pull it...might as well take whichever has the best body/frame.
