 Post subject: isuzu 2.3 swap

just a quick question, does anybody know if a 2.3 liter isuzu 4 banger will bolt up to the stock bell housing on a 79 4X4 lu? i know the 2.0 will, but i don't know about the 2.3

p.s. and just one further question, how hard would it be to swap a 5 speed out of an 87 trooper 2 into a luv?

hey the most I could tell you is get and old longbed that doesnt run and pull the 5 speed out of it, one of my luvs has a longbed 5-speed trans, you might have to modify the driveshaft so I d just go with the v-8. 8O
