Has anyone had fit issues when installing a Pacesetter header on a 1.9 L? I have a 85 pup and with a metal/fiber manifold gasket combo, the header just squeezed by the clutch arm but I had to remove the E-brake bracket to complete the install.

I had to remove ALL the cables and hardware to remove rust from parts and threads so removing the bracket was needed anyway. I was hoping that someone else had experienced this problem and had come up with a fix. (Bend, relocate bracket)

I had to cut away a portion of the floor board behind the gas pedal. When installed the header pipe was 1/8" away from floor. I fabricated a new floor piece to move the floor two inches away from the header and applied heat shield.

Of course the collector ended up 8" from cross member. A quick trip to the pipe bender fixed that

Thanks

Bill

the pacesetter 70-1105 fit right into my 1.8 1980 Luv, but idk if there actually meant for the 1.9 even though sellers might claim they are.
