nope no such adapter. the stock transmission is really weak you wouldn't want to put 305 torque though it
check out powerbyace.com they have engine mount kits and transmission mount adapters for auto and manual transmissions that will make things pretty easy. you can use pretty much any chevy rwd trans 700r4 auto, t5 5 speed, nv3500 5 speed, th350 etc..

Slow down...

I had power by ace headers and adapters on my truck with an nv3500 transmission. The NV3500 that comes from the full-size Chevy is longer than the s10 nv3500. The mounting point on the trans ends up right over the crossmember. Not a good combo for the luv.

Power by ace does make adapters and headers. Manual transmissions are tricky though. The headers he sells do not quite clear the NV3500 case. They may clear some other manual transmissions. I cut the section of the bellhousing that the dust cover bolts to to get the headers to clear. I never could get the transmission mount right, so I got tired of fooling with it and replaced mine with a 700r4.

It sounds like you're looking for a simple way to do a v8 swap. Check out the v8 swap guide here. http://www.luvtruck.com/pdf/EngSwap.pdf

Ditching the manual transmission for an automatic will save you a ton of headache in the long run.

Thanks for clearing that up i didnt realize the nv didnt fit his mounts. I got the 4.3 motor mounts and they are perfect. im using a 700r4 now, wanted 5 speed but its a lot easier to find a 700r4 then it is to get a good manual

You won't regret doing the V-8 swap! Lots of fun to drive!
