Tranny- '86 or '87 Trooper or 4x4 pickup with the 2.3L 4ZD1 gas engine. You will also need the rear slip yoke, it's different than the 4sp. Both driveshafts must have the length adjusted. The tranny support crossmember must be relocated rearwards, go ahead & make it removable.
Engine- '84 or '85 Trooper, '84-'87 pickup. If the donor is 2x4 use your 4x4 oil pan, oil pick up tube if it's different. Use the donor electronic distributor to eliminate the points. The power steering is swappable also by modding the steering shaft connection, use the donor gearbox (with pitman arm if it's different), pump, hoses, mounting brackets & pulleys. If you truck does not already have the larger 7-blade fan with clutch get that also along with the matching fan shroud.
Note: you won't find both the engine & tranny in one donor vehicle, the G200Z 4x4 vehicles were 4sp only.
BTW using the G180 head on the G200 block will boost compression, if your head is good you may want to hang on to it.

I think the 4-speed and 4-speed 4wd transmissions all used the same 27-spline yoke. But if you run across this transmission, get the yoke as well, while you're there. They're getting valuable.

Excellent point...which brings up the question--why the G200Z, as opposed to the 4ZD1?

Well I was looking for an easy install and the g200 is almost exactly the same right? How hard is the 4ZD1? I just bent a rod over the weekend so I'm dead in the water looking for a long block of some kind other then the g180. Any links or hookups would be awesome. Can't afford to swap tranny at same time unless I get a killer deal so it would have to mount up to 4speed. Help me out guys

The 4ZD1 is more work to swap over. You have a few wiring differences, and clearance is tight between the firewall and distributor. It will bolt to the tranny and motor mounts though.

For pure simple easy swap the G200 is totally bolt in.

You could also go with a 2.6L 4ZE1 but then you need the carb intake from a 4ZD1 or all the electronics from the donor vehicle to run the fuel injection, fuel pump needs changed, etc.

Haha I think that's a little out of my league I'm really considering the 4zd1 need a doner vehicle though. What about the axles can I use those too?

In the United States it is a unicorn. Never shipped to the US in any production vehicle. You might as well look for a long bed 4x4 LUV. Basically zero chance of finding a G200W.
