Idk it seemed like The transmission was too long when I got the motor to where it look just right the transmission was sitting on the oil pan. And the right header comes into pieces and I had to take the little piece off so I could angle the motor in haha

That trans isn't too long. I've had an NV3500 in mine and now a 700R4 and they are both longer than the TH350.

I have to admit, I'm stumped. I have no idea what is going on here.

I haven't installed a v8 in a luv yet, but from what I'm understanding from your post id your trying to mount the trans in gthe stock location of the luvs trans, if so that will not work and you will have to make a new trans mount depending on how far back or forward you want your engine installed....but that's what I got from your question, sorry if I missed understand.

Yes you have Hooker and the TH350 trans cushion bolts should be approx 6" forward of the crossmember.

Hang in there . It will fit with a th350 . Measure twice cut once . You can always remove more metal . it is alot harder to put it back after its cut out . Here is my factory mount modified for a th350 .

Just for grins homemaade motor mount also , these use 67-69 Camaro rubber pads and worked with Hooker block huggers and Hooker conversion headers

My current Yellow one has a notched crossmember and the grat 76' had one . The Blue 78 and the orange 75' im building don't have balancer clearence cut outs . The belt is tight without the cut out , but will work .

If you run a short style water pump, the pulley will barely clear the front cross member.
