Dont see why not. I would think it would be easier than going the other way.

There are 2 4x4's on Craigslsit down here that are in my price range and i have almost everything to build another truck . A 4x4 converted to 2wd , if it can be would work . If say i could just change spindles, brakes & rotors I would be in .

Front suspension is different. 2wd stuff does not bolt in, if I rememebr correctly... Mounting points and such.

Turning a 4x4 to a 2wd is possible. 2wd stub axels/spindles will bolt in in place of 4x4 stub axles/spindles, shock tower is different between 4x4 & 2wd making coil over conversion more of a challenge.

doing a 4x4 to 2x4 conversion lately just going to reindex the torsion bars and removed the front axle and shafts. looks good enough for me. made some caps for where the cv axles went in he hubs.
