Anybody know the frame measurement across the engine bay? Because of all the rain, it's too nasty to crawl under right now. Somebody say shade tree? Yes it's outside, and that's where the new engine will go in. No shop or garage. I looked for it in the measurements in the information section, but it doesn't have those. It's a 1980 which I don't think is different from earlier years. I'm shopping for motor mounts for a direct bolt in LSX, and I found a guy who builds them for hot rods with various measurements. http://dirtydingo.com/store/index.php?cPath=323

They have the mounts you're looking for.

I was going to go with Ace, but I found this business that sells a one piece mount. They take the frame measurement and place the engine at the correct height and give you three inches of movement front or back. This puts the engine in the exact right spot. I still may go with Ace depending on what else I find out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sand-Rail-Hot-R ... 5f&vxp=mtr
