Ran a best of 10.17 as a V7 and this week as a V8 ran a best of 10.05@131.
Using a new Holley HP 850. Made a plug check and found them as white as snow.
Jetted up to 88 front - power valve blocked rear increased to 98.
Made another plug check still white! Runs great but the biggest jet we have is 99.
whats next?

Check your cooling system...sometimes a white plug means a coolant leak.If not you need more fuel volume or pressure!

Clever
Good point. We are using a new mechanical fuel pump-Carter high performance.
Inlet AN#8 outlet AN#10
It reads 7.5 on our fuellog gauge. Do we need to set a gauge on the hood?
Phil shifts at 7500 and crosses the stripe at 7000. We use a 1/2 line but the filter
has the smaller standard inlet and outlet fitings. Could this be a restriction?

Cleaver,
Sorry about the misspelling of your name.
Another question. Does the side electrode
also show if a plug is to hot if it is light in
color?

You need a gauge visible while making a pass. 7.5.while not under load may not bengood at speed. I don't.have much faith in a mechanical pump like that in a racing application...
