Does anybody know if the power steering pump and necessary parts off of a diesel luv truck would work on a gas luv truck? Hit me up if you have an answer for me. Also I found some donor vehicles that I may be able to get some parts off of for some of you guys. I will be checking them out this weekend and will let you guys know what I can get my hands on. Nate

Did you ever find out if the gas engine p/s set up would fit the diesel?

We have a winner! You've hit on the answer, the brackets are indeed different.

Since this topic started in June of 2012, I wonder if there was a specific diesel truck that he was referring to (which may be crushed by now), or if the question was hypothetical. :?:

Sounded like he had one in mind thats likely long gone :/ yards need to stop crushing luvs the demand for them is so high the profit margin vs scrap has to be 10:1

The last 1st-gen I saw in a yard was pretty much ignored or un-noticed until I posted about it HERE. Drummerforhire got the best of it. Demand may be high in some areas, but apparently not in Memphis. This yard seems to have the slowest turnover of all the 3 self-service yards in Memphis. But it eventually got crushed when they replaced this row with a new row of incoming vehicles.

Man, that was a great truck. I wish I could've taken the whole thing. Mytmouz has most of it now.

And I'm SO happy that it didn't all go to waste. :)
