I heard about a modification you can do to make your secondaries open up differently. It makes your stock carb function like a weber carb. Has anyone heard of this, any cons to it? Also a tutorial would be nice.

i had a vacuum secondary carb on an a 84 honda accord, i put a screw through part of the throttle linkage that hit the secondary linkage and started to open it at about 3/4 throttle... it made a difference, but mostly i think cause the carb's vac was shot... If you want a carb that performs like a weber, then ide say just get a weber... i got a used one for 50 bux and a rebuild kit for 15, seeing as i never rebuilt a carb before and it worked i think you would be fine.... you would also need a FPR

p.s. i never heard of this before, nor do i believe it is possible, but good luck if you wanna take a stab it it.
