I just got through helping a friend rebuild a buick 350. Man, they're great engines, but they're soooo freakin wide I don't think they would fit.

We put it in an 87 cutlass and it's a pretty tight fit.

It's also alittle longer than a SB Chevy motor. The timing chain cover is pretty big. It covers the chain, the housing is big enough to hold and run the distributor and the oil pump/housing is on it. Not to mention that the oil filter hangs there too. It's not impossible but it might be too much of a hassle. Plus there's not many performance parts for the Buick 350 anymore. And if you find any, there gonna cost a pretty penny. I've got a 4.1 Buick V-6 under the hood of my truck and it takes up enough room to look like it belongs there. I've already came to the decision that when this motor fails, it's getting replaced with a SB Chevy. It will be cheaper to fix up and it will have more power and there's a ton of performance mods available for it.
