Yes it will, you will need the Toys transmission as well. It does not matter how many miles the LUV has, the Toy engine wont be able to tell.

If someone can put BBC in a LUV I'm pretty sure a little Toyota 4 banger will fit lol. Like LuvrV8 said you'll also need the trans and drive-shaft and have the Toy drive-shaft modded to use a LUV U-joint or use the Toy rear end as well.

yes, there was one at a yard here years ago but the stick shift will set back further by the seat. would be good to put bucket seats in it if you do the swap

The 20r and 22r are both gesood engines. The 22r is larger in Cubic Inches.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

I rebuilt a 20r in my wife's 78 Celica years ago. Good eng. The stock carb. sucked. It has a ton of vacuum lines to and from it. IDK what Toyota was thinking when the designed the emissions system for that car/eng. It was a nightmare. But I'm sure de-smoged, it's a great set up.
