I just bought a 74 rolling chasis and body. Me and a friend are turning this into a mud drag truck. He has 454 bored out 40 over. How hard is it gonna be to put this beast together? It seems like we may have to cut the fender wells. We're slapping a turbo 400 and an 8.8 rear end in it as well with cut tractor tires on the rear. has anybody undertook any thing close to this?any tips or pointers would be appreciated. And a good name suggestion would be helpful. lol

I had a 2wd with a sbc. I shortened the bed, extended the fenders and moved the cab. A bbc would have fit, but I didn't need it...

Will this truck be 4 wheel drive? I'm just getting through with one with a small block but the suspenion and all the other stuff will be about the same. Look in the projects&builds section and look for Smokey's v8 luv I'll be glade too help anyway I can.
