 Post subject: springs

I want to put a soild axel in the front but i dont know how to hang the springs can anyone tell me how to do this.

theres not a whole lot to it. theres the leaf spring mount and theres the shackle and a shackle mount. the shackle mount and the leaf spring mount get welded to the frame. I would consider putting the shackle in the rear though.

what you could do is find an old jeep and steal the axle, springs, and mounts off of it, just make sure that it has manual hubs and not vaccum activated hubs. the pumpkin on a jeep is on the same side as a luv.
