its almost a waste of time to swap.

I have the truck version of this same motor (cast iron not alum) and its SUPER long.

fairly narrow, but way too long. would have to push the firewall back a solid foot. and the front to rear weight distribution would make it terrible at the track.

just think dodge 318 with 2 cylinders added.

ENGINE: Engine Bay:
Length is 36” 32'' fire wall to hood cross member
Width (outside of manifold to manifold) is 31” 32'' inside fender well at bottom
Height (bottom of pan to top of intake) is 21” 40'' something

TRANSMISSION:
Height is 17 ¼ n/a
Width is 21 n/a
Length is 32 ¼ n/a (worried about the shifter)

i was thinking of puting the radiator in the bed and have a duct supply air. Also have electric fans. Fuel cell as far back as i can set it.

gosh guys it comes with the computer and the wiring harness 30,000 miles....if i only had the money buy it now 6,000

doubtful this would do anything to help traction.

move the engine an extra foot back. then the ratio begins to clean itself up.

yeah i was thinking about adding weight to the back and keeping it as close to the front as possible plus i have to make a shifter that will reach ...and i dont like the idea of cutting too much into the fire wall ...there is only so much space
