ahhh. it is overkill now i agree. i picked up a v8 that ill drop in in a few months. is it still overkill? its going to be a mild mild..
for the most part, it would be overkill for a mild to stock v8 in a luv. case in point, the sorry stock luv pump held out quite well deep into the 13s for me on a v6.
But it doesnt hurt to "over pump" when having some performance goals. increasing the line size with the stock or small pump really helped alot too. a 3/8s line is alot of stored fuel for a WOT blast. and in a truck as light as the luv, a good blast is moving along purdy fast... so you wont be in it for an extended amount of time.
this pump is cheaper and more than enough for a mild V8
