will all years of the 2.6 intake will work on the G180? i see it go to the early nineties like 92?
what modifications need to be made to the manifold if any to work?
i know i will need to upgrade to the efi fuel pump and lines, the ECU, sensors and all that happy crap. is there anything else i need to swap?
any info would be great i wanna get my truck going while im in a sling (8 weeks) so when i can drive again i will be able to

its alot cheaper to track down parts for a 2.6 than for the impulse. i plan to go boosted sometime after the swap (reason for keeping the 1.8 instead of doing full 2.6 swap) but im going one step at a time. carb gave out and i looked into it. about the same price to either go FI or get a weber if i wanna boost gotta go efi.

easier to tune for best performance. when you can adjust for higher boost levels isnt it?
and its not a requirement but i would prefer it

tuning ability is debatable, depends on the tuner and operator.

any boost change requires a full tune carb or fuel injection.

not really realistic as shown in the movies to change boost on the fly when i comes to maximum power... with either system... but fuel injection does have its ease of use- provided the computer allows you to change what needs to be changed.

thats what i was thinking. i never trust a movie for anything that has anything with the word realistic anymore.
with a carb the only thing i have heard is that they are more difficult to work with boost than EFI because they are designed for the engines stock specs and dont have as much freedom to adjust as a fi setup. and im better with a computer than a carb for sure.
