searched with no luck but what year rears can be narrowed? i read some have a taper that cannot be re-splined. id rather find a stock rear and narrow it than buy expensive housings and shafts from jegs or summit.

My understanding is that axles with 28 splines can't be narrowed due to the taper. So you want to find a donor 9 inch that has 31 spline axles.
