I decided to swap in a 231 (3.

Buick enigne with auto transmission that was given to me. The enigne has only 66,000 miles on it.
To squeeze the engine in I had to cut the nose off, and then sit the engine where it needed to go, and bolt it all in.
For the transfer case I went with an 88 Samurai case, and decided to pull the body back off of the frame to allow me better angles to weld the mounts in.
I made the drivesahfts using Samuri shafts with jeep yokes on one end, the rear is 27 inches, and the frotn is 33 inches long. since the frame was back out I went ahead and painted everything with Rust-o-lium Gloss black.
To put the nose back on I cut everything off of the core support and bolted it on and then made custom inner fenders from alumiunum, and put 3 inch square tubing back in place of the unibody, for the support.
All that is left for me to do now is to put the exhuast on, for that I had 2 pieces of 2 1/4 by 4 foot pipe bent with a 90 degree angle to bott onto my manifolds, and I'll be running Cherry Bomb turbo's on those, for a set of true dual pipes.
