I just purchased a luv and was would like to find out what year it is. Witch digit in the vin number would tell me? Please help.

I have been looking but so far I am only finding sites that will only go back to 1980. I will keep looking and I will let you know when/if I find something. Please let me know when/if you find anything.

So I just called a Chevy dealer and they looked up my VIN and said that the 8th digit from the right indicates the year. Which is a surprise for me! Anyway, I hope it's right and helps you out.
