i was wondering if my 81 luv could take like a 4 cylinder s 10 motor or some. the reason why i ask is because that my engine is starting to smoke and wanted to know if there was a direct engine swap i could do with a s 10, or do i need to stick with the izuzu motor

The only direct fit motor is the Isuzu G180 ,G200,2.3,2.6.

First 2 years of the s10 had the Isuzu motors though, so yes to your question, if you find the correct one...

my current motor is the g 200 i was just wondering because its starting to smoke blue. is there any quick cures you can think of that will help it not smoke so i can take it thru deq and not worrie about that.
