Not sure if a drive line shop is setup to do both. I"ll see what I can find out. Do you have a narrowed rear end and need the axles cut and spline to match?

I have and independent rear out of a 300z. You can check it out in the project build section here on the site.

You are going to need a "good" machine shop. That is basically IRS like a older VW's use, or the Corvette uses. Almost the same as FWD cars use too. I have seen Vette's have replacement shafts made, but built with drive shaft u-joints instead of the CV joints....

Someone will have to look and see how much metal there is to work with. A shop may be able to replace the shaft part or cut and weld it. IIRC part of the joint is made into the shaft...

I have been looking into this a little. There are several ways it seems people do this, from 1/2 shaft conversions and others things.

This looks like the best look at this type of rear end setup, and some mods.
